New Vascular Optical Tomographic Imaging System to Diagnose, Monitor Peripheral Artery Disease

Approximately 8 to 12 million people in the United States alone are suffering from peripheral arterial disease (PAD), a common vascular problem that is caused by narrowing of the arteries as a result of plaque buildup. The plaque accumulation leads to an insufficient blood flow to the body's extremities and increases a person's risk for heart attack and stroke by up to six times. PAD is also one of the most serious complications of diabetes.

Ferro Announces Acquisition of Laser Marking Technology Provider, TherMark

Ferro Corporation (the “Company”) announced today that it has acquired privately held TherMark Holdings, Inc. (“TherMark”), a leader in laser marking technology, for $5.5 million in cash, subject to customary adjustments. TherMark is Ferro’s largest partner in the marketing of laser marking materials and also licenses technology to Ferro.

Larson Electronics Unveils New Magnetically Mounted LED Work Light with Inline Transformer

Industrial lighting specialist Larson Electronics has announced the release of a 150 watt LED pedestal mount work light with an inline transformer. This magnetic mount work light produces 14,790 lumens of light capable of illuminating an area 18,000 square feet in size.
