Larson Electronics Introduces 15’ Telescoping Light Mast Featuring 400W LED Light

Industrial lighting specialist Larson Electronics has announced the release of a 15’ telescoping light mast equipped with a 400 watt LED light head. The LM-15-5-4S-400W-LED is a four stage light mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy the mounted LED light head.

The LM-15-5-4S-400W-LED features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation and a removable mast head for storing the mounted 400 watt LED light fixture when not in use. This light boom can be extended to a height of 15’ for effective coverage and collapsed to 5’. The mast is elevated to its full height using an included 600 lbs. hand winch with 3/16” galvanized cable. The 360° rotation is provided by a single T-Handle. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast spins freely and can typically be rotated with a single hand. Included with this tower is one high output LED light fixture that produces a total of approximately 52,000 lumens at 400 watts. The light head contains fifty-four Bridgelux high output LEDs producing 963 lumens each.

These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces by a 15” by 13”, ¼” thick mounting baseplate which has been predrilled to accept six ¾” anchor bolts. A 36” wide and ¼” thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the light. This mast is powder coated with a glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics.

“The LM-15-5-4S-400W-LED offers a fast and secure solution to elevate 400 watts of lighting power up to fifteen feet,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. “The LED light is equipped with a back mount trunnion style bracket that allows the light to be adjusted through 160° of vertical movement.”
