Nanosys Partners with LG Innotek for Use of Quantum Dot Phosphors in Displays

Nanosys, Inc. today announced that it has signed a definitive commercial agreement with cutting edge electronics component manufacturer LG Innotek (LGIT). The agreement, involving Nanosys’ quantum dot phosphors for use in displays, represents the first real world commercial application of quantum dots in electronics.

Trina Solar Begins First Shipment of PV Modules to Australia-Based RF Industries

Trina Solar Limited (TSL) ("Trina Solar" or the "Company"), a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of PV modules, today announced it has made initial shipments to RF Industries Pty Ltd ("RFI"), Australia's leading renewable energy distributor in January 2010. Elbit Systems Receives $50 Million Order for Various Laser Systems from Israeli Defense Ministry

Elbit Systems Ltd. ( ESLT) announced today that it was awarded contracts in an aggregate amount of approximately $50 million to supply various types of laser based systems to the Israeli Ministry of Defense and to North American customers. The Israeli MoD will be supplied with laser systems, while in North America, Elbit Systems will supply two different customers with airborne laser systems.
