Veeco Receives DOE Funds to Support Solid State Lighting Projects

Veeco Instruments Inc. (Nasdaq: VECO) announced today that it has been awarded $4 million in R&D matching funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act by the U.S. Department of Energy to support high-efficiency solid state lighting projects. Semprius Selected Under NREL’s PV Technology Incubator Program
