Lemnis Opens New In-House Production Center

Lemnis Lighting has established a new subsidiary company called Lemnis Technical Services to produce advanced LED lighting sources. The new company will serve as a research facility for research and development of energy-efficient and innovative lighting solutions. The center will also be used to manufacture and supply the electronics required to mange and operate the lighting sources.

Lemnis Technical Services, which is based in the Netherlands, has a sophisticated facility, which features a fully-equipped production lines and clean rooms. These resources will be utilized to produce light sources for the LED components. At present, Lemnis offers a wide range of products such as LED bulbs, solar products and greenhouse lighting systems for domestic and commercial applications.

Lemnis Technical Services, with experienced staff and fully-equipped production lines, is set to deliver complete light sources for the outdoor lighting products and the Pharox product range.

Remko Gaastra, Chief Executive Officer of Lemnis Lighting, stated that the new in-house production unit ensures that the company will not have to rely on third party companies for their light source production. He added that the new division will strengthen the company’s market position and will also extend their portfolio in the energy-efficient LED application sector.
