Developer of high-brightness light sources, Energetiq Technology, has constructed a clean manufacturing facility in Massachusetts. The new clean room will offer Class 1000 assembly capability, which will be utilized for optics assembly and for producing Laser-Driven Light Source solutions.
The LDLS Laser-Driven Light Sources are reliable sources of NIR, visible and DUV light for analytical applications that require durable lamp-life. The LDLS electrodeless bulb technology allows engineers and researchers to utilize one UV-VIS source that offers high-brightness UV light and provides a cost-effective solution against multiple lasers or lamps.
Energetiq Technology’s Director of Operations, Claire Brown stated that the clean manufacturing facility will enable them to test and assemble the optics in clean surroundings. Brown added that the facility will allow the company to produce efficient, long-lasting light sources and will also increase the production of the LDLS light sources.
