Newark to Distribute Cree LMR4 Lighting Modules in North America

Newark, an electronics distributor, will serve as North American distributor for Cree’s latest range of LED modules. The Cree LMR4 modules are available in EasyWhite and TrueWhite technology options and combine primary thermal management, optics and driver electronics into a convenient drop-in solution.

The TrueWhite LMR4 modules offer a light output of 700 lm at 2700 K color temperature and over 90 color rendering index (CRI). They consume minimal power of 12 W. Cree EasyWhite modules have a CRI of above 80 and are suitable for a wide range of applications. Both modules have a minimum operating life of 35,000 h at L70 and support 5% dimming.

Newark aims to accelerate the use of LED lighting for existing and new designs and supports design engineers with comprehensive technical resources and data.
