BenQ Rolls Out SP890 Installation Projector

BenQ announced that it has rolled out the new SP890 installation projector that is ideal for venues such as auditoriums and concert halls. The SP890 projector has a contrast ratio of 50000:1, an optical zoom of 1.5x and a brightness of 4000 lm. It boasts of a Full HQV and HD picture quality.

The SP890 installation projector delivers five times more detailing, when compared to conventional 480p projectors. Its advanced HQV processing improves the standard definition content, in addition to delivering HD video sources in 1080p format. Low-resolution video sources are converted automatically to generate complete HD-like image quality.

The projector combines Philip's VIDI lamp technology and Texas Instruments' DynamicBlackT technology offers a high contrast ratio of 50000:1. Crestron RoomView technology enables the projector to offer central access for projector managers and IT personnel. The SP890 projector functions on the BrilliantColorT Technology, which provides 6-segment color wheel and offers enhanced balance between optimal color and brightness.

The projector provides VIDIT Lighting Technology that enables light alteration more efficiently. It also has multi-function connectors such as RS232, L/R video, USB, and HDMI S-Video. It supports various file formats such as 1080i, 1080p, 720p, 576p, and 480p.
