New MD-F3000 Fiber Laser Marker for Metal Marking Applications

Sensing and measuring solution provider, KEYENCE, has introduced a new, advanced 3-axis MD-F3000 fiber laser marker for metal processing and marking applications. The MD-F3000 fiber laser marker provides 30 W of power, which ensures that permanent etching and marking of hard metals can be done in a short period of time.

The small head of the fiber laser marker is compact and can be installed quickly and easily in tight spaces. The marker’s head features a fan-less design and is resistant to dust and dirt. The MD-F3000, when integrated with the Marking Builder-2 software, delivers fast, easy and high-quality marking to meet rigorous marking demand.

The MD-F3000 laser marker series also includes an advanced 3-axis beam control system, which ensures that the marker offers distortion-free and high-quality marking across the 300x300 mm region without requiring any expensive mechanisms. The MD-F3000 also incorporates a number of features such as touch panel interface, date-time functionality, encoder inputs, sample marking function and internal power monitor. The device can store up to 2000 programs.

KEYENCE has upgraded the Marking Builder-2 Software by adding a new Quality Function that minimizes setup time. The Quality Function integrates all the advanced features into a single set of options. This integration allows the user to find the right kind of settings to generate the required laser mark within a short time frame. When the Quality Function is combined with the 30 W power, the marking time frame for one-and-two-dimensional codes can be reduced significantly.
