Specialised Imaging Ltd. has recently delivered the World's first 16 channel camera capable of capturing images at 200,000,000 frames per second with gating down to 5ns to the UK's EPSRC Engineering Instrument Pool, which is run for the EPSRC by the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory at Didcot in Oxfordshire.

Award Marks Single Largest Order of 16-mm Tubes for Sole Provider ITT

ITT Corporation today announced that its Night Vision division has received a $14 million order from Annapolis, Md.-based ARINC Incorporated for 16-millimeter image intensifier tubes for two advanced aviation programs. This is the largest single award of 16-mm aviation tubes since the programs entered development in 2003.

PI Extends Line of Piezo Stages for Scanning Microscopy Applications

PI (Physik Instrumente) has extended its line of piezo stages for scanning microscopy applications. The P-737 Piezo Z-Focusing Stage is offered along with the stiffer, P-726 high performance microscope lens focusing system for large NA microscope objectives and the redesigned P-686 XY piezo motor positioning stage providing long travel ranges to 25x25 mm.
