Study Shows Cold Laser Increases Tumour Growth in Skin Cancer

High irradiances of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) should not be used over melanomas. Researchers writing in the open access journal BMC Cancer studied the pain relieving, anti-inflammatory ‘cold laser’, finding that it caused increased tumour growth in a mouse model of skin cancer.

Cypress Semiconductor Unveils New Evaluation Kits for LCD Segment Drive Applications

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (NASDAQ:CY) today introduced two evaluation kits showing the ease-of-use, fast development time and flexibility of its new PSoC 3 architecture for LCD segment drive applications. Universal Display and Arizona State University Join to Fabricate PHOLEDs for US Army

SunPower Completes Installation of Solar Rooftop System at Agilent Headquarters, California

SunPower Corp. ( SPWRA, SPWRB), a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells, solar panels and solar systems, today announced the completion of a 1-megawatt solar power rooftop system on three buildings at Agilent's headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif. This is SunPower's second project with Agilent, following the design and installation of a 1-megawatt solar tracking system at Agilent's Santa Rosa, Calif., campus last year.
