Epson America has launched a new, sophisticated and affordable projector called the Epson VS400 projector for education and business presentations. The VS400 features an advanced 3-chip, 3LCD technology that delivers bright and extraordinary colors and details to enhance classroom and conference presentations.
The 3LCD technology offers a high energy-efficient light engine that creates real-life-like images. Unlike the 1-chip DLP technology, the 3LCD technology utilizes 25% of less electricity at each lumen of brightness.
The Epson VS400 offers 4000 lm color, XGA-resolution and white light output. It is also integrated with a unique E-TORL lamp technology that helps extends the lamp life for about 3,500 h in an economy mode. The VS400 has user-friendly control options such as the direct power on and off features, which avoid costly delays while starting and finishing the presentations. The VS400 also includes an A/V Mute Slide feature, which can be used to turn off the images and sounds and thus helps in preserving the lamp life and energy.
Epson America’s Product Manager, Jason Meyer, stated that the company strives to meet its users’ projection requirements, and the Epson VS400 is one such device that is bright and simple and does not require any advanced connectivity options.
