Advanced LED Lighting Panels for Industrial Applications

Vishay Intertechnology has introduced new, advanced light-emitting diode (LED) light panels for industrial and streetlight overhead lighting applications. The LED panels also double up as a development kit to provide solid-state lighting solutions for designers.

Apart from the LED panels, the development kit also contains a driver module and reflectors, which offer eco-friendly, energy-efficient and durable LED lighting technology. The kit also eliminates costly development delays and aids in bringing the lighting products into the market quickly.

The LED panels are available in two options such as the VLSL30 light panel and the VLSL31 light panel. The former has cool white LEDs, a luminous power of 2160 lumens, and a temperature range of 5000-7000 K. The latter has neutral white LEDs, a luminous power of 1900 lumens, and a temperature range of 3800-5000 K.

The VLSL31 and the VLSL30 panels have four strings of six light-emitting diodes, which are placed on a copper-based printed circuit board (PCB). The copper base conducts the heat away from the light-emitting diodes, thus prolonging the life of the product.

The VLSL3-DU driver offers eight channels and has an output power of up to 56 W. It offers regulated current control, load dump protection, reverse polarity protection and 12V DC input with overvoltage and undervoltage control.

Each development kit is available with one driver, one light panel and five reflectors. Aluminum alloy reflectors are also provided to control the illumination.
