Mitsubishi Electric Installs Diamond Vision LED Screen at Hakodate Racecourse

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has announced that it has completed the Diamond Vision screen installation at Hakodate Racecourse. The Diamond Vision screen will now serve as the main display system, replacing an older CRT main display earlier installed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.

The main display has high-luminance LEDs arranged in a 10mm dot pitch. The split-screen display shows two screens with different content, such as the paddock or race footage on one screen and a different footage on the other.

Apart from the main screen, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has installed another Diamond Vision screen with LEDs arranged in 8mm dot pitch at the race course. The display, known as the Paddock Theater, displays both racing odds and live images from other off-track betting racecourses.

Mitsubishi Diamond Vision display installations have been done in other racecourses, and stadiums. In Japan, Mitsubishi displays have been recently installed at Biwako Kyotei boat racecourse, Utsunomiya Keirin bicycle racetrack, JRA Sapporo Racecourse, Nakayama Racecourse, Maebashi Keirin and Dubai Meydan Racecourse.
