Uni-Pixel has announced that its new, advanced Clearly Superior fingerprint resistant (FPR) screen protectors for iPad and iPhone are now available through Amazon.com. The screen protectors are suitable for touch screen devices.
The Clearly Superior provides a complete screen protection solution with anti-glare treatment, scratch protection and a unique adhesive, which prevents peeling and bubbles. The FPR screen protectors enhance users’ experience.
The President and Chief Executive Officer of Uni-Pixel, Reed Killion, stated that the fingerprint resistant technology removes the smudges and fingerprints from the touch-screen display and is the latest option available in the screen protectors. He informed that the Clearly Superior film surface is covered with a number of micro-optic structures that eliminate oils and fingerprint patterns from the screen’s surface, thus maintaining the image quality and clarity.
Killion estimated that in view of the emerging demand for smartphones, the touch-screen protector industry is experiencing more than $250 million revenues per annum and this growth will continue to increase rapidly.
