iKey has launched the new IK series of tough flat panel displays for harsh industrial applications. The flat panel displays feature slim-profile panels made of alloy. These panels resist dust, corrosives, dirt and liquids.
iKey 19¡± IK-PDS-1902 Flat Panel Display
The newly introduced displays are available in various size options that are 19¡± IK-PDS-1902, 17¡± IK-PDS-1703 and 15¡± IK-PDS-1502. The resolution of IK-PDS-1502 is 1024x768, while the resolution of IK-PDS-1703 and IK-PDS-1902 is 1280x1024. These panels also feature a resistive touch screen. The front panel of the displays are IP65-rated, hence, suitable for applications in wet or dirty areas. The displays can operate in a temperature range of 0¢ª to -50¢ª C and can be stored in temperature between -20¢ª and -60¢ª C.
The IK series of flat panel displays can be easily integrated with most of the applications. The products are designed to support panel-mounting, wall-embedded installation, VESA mounting and wall-mounting.
The Marketing Coordinator of the company Halley Cade said that they can now offer a complete solution for input and display for the customers to satisfy the demands of harsh environments. The new line of displays is suitable for industries such as material handling, food/beverage manufacturing, and industrial automation due to their robust features, he noted. The products can be sprayed down as well as can be operated in environments where ordinary systems will often fail because of liquid and debris in the air, Cade added.
