VizVOCUS’ Digital Medical Camera Featured on Discovery Channel

VizVOCUS Technologies announced that its plug and play medical camera was featured on a Discovery Channel TV show, Silent Stalker: Heart Disease. The show featured Dr. Mehmet Oz using the camera during an operation.

The digital camera offers a combination of high quality video and user friendly technology that doctors demand. The lightweight camera can be customized to fit on any type of loupes or headlights. The medical camera delivers high-definition video capture output in digital format that helps to save the video in .JPEG and .AVI files. It also allows the user to record high-definition video in .AVI format. As the product delivers output directly in digital format, no conversion is required.

The medical camera enables capturing .JPEG still images of up to 7.6 MP. Other features of the camera include in-built microphone and USB 2.0 connectivity for connecting it directly to a laptop.

The vice president of VizVOCUS’ Business Development division Paule Delaney said that their VGA and USB high-definition medical cameras are designed to match the expertise of leading doctors like Dr. Oz.
