New Par 38 LED Lamp from Nexxus Lighting

Nexxus Lighting announced the launch of the Array Par 38 lamp that has been developed for the replacement of Par 38 and R 38 track and down lighting solutions. The company has introduced the LED lamp at the Light Fair International 2010 in Las Vegas.

Array LED PAR30

The new LED product provides various features such as high color rendering index, center beam candle power and high lumen output. The Array Par 38 lamp delivers lumens per watt that is supposed to match the latest Energy Star standards, which will take effect from August 31, 2010.

The company has planned to focus on high color rendering color temperatures of 3000 and 2700 K for marketing the product. These color temperatures are offered in 25 degree Narrow Flood, 60-100 degree Flood and 15 degree spot optics options. Moreover, the Array Par 38 lamp is also available in color temperatures of 5000 and 6500 K.

The LED light has the ability to decrease more than 75% of energy usage, while lasting 25% longer when compared to a typical 90 W Halogen Par lamp. Mike Bauer, Nexxus Lighting’s CEO stated that the new Par 38 lamp delivers 60% more light with 200% more CBCP at a lesser price than other LED lights. The lightweight lamp with dimmable feature sets new standard in quality, performance and specification, he added.
