Zayo Bandwidth, a regional provider of fiber based bandwidth infrastructure and carrier neutral colocation services, announced today that it has further expanded its network by extending its reach into the Atlanta, Chicago and Houston markets.
This expansion will provide customers access to the latest and most reliable protocols in standard configurations or "built to suit" solutions in these metro areas. Each market is enabled to provide Ethernet, Wavelengths and SONET services in a variety of network speeds and is ready to accommodate the soaring demand for bandwidth from its enterprise, carrier and service provider customers.
"We continue to bring innovative custom built solutions for critical applications and are pleased to be offering these solutions to our customers in Atlanta, Houston and Chicago," stated Brad Cheedle, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "This investment demonstrates Zayo Bandwidth's commitment to continued network expansion to meet customer demands in additional Metro markets."
This expansion adds multiple buildings to an already expansive network and presents easy access to numerous critical near-net buildings within one mile of the network. Zayo currently has over 2,200 buildings on-net, over 870 cell sites and serves 55 Metro markets.
