Selex Galileo Acquires Lasertel

Lasertel today announced that the planned acquisition by SELEX Galileo Inc. reported in November has now been completed.

Lasertel will continue to be an industry leading supplier of laser diode components

Lasertel will continue to be an industry leading supplier of laser diode components and the acquisition by Selex Galileo will help us continue our growth”, said Lasertel’s President, Mark McElhinney.

Lasertel will continue to operate out of its Tucson Arizona facility as an independent business unit and a merchant supplier of laser diode components, subassemblies and turn-key systems to the defense, industrial, graphics and medical markets.

“Lasertel is clearly a market leader in the laser diode industry and we are delighted to have Lasertel become a part of SELEX Galileo,” said SELEX Galileo Inc. CEO, Wayne Landman.
