Canvys' Sales and Marketing Representatives are Now Certified DSCE Professionals

Canvys, a division of Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (NASDAQ: RELL), today announced that all of its marketing and sales representatives, who focus on marketing and selling digital signage solutions,  are now designated Digital Signage Certified Experts (“DSCE”). This certification enables Canvys, a provider of visual technology solutions, to better support its customers.

Certified DSCE professionals must understand each component in a digital signage network, including: networking, displays, software and content creation. They must also be able to comprehensively assess a customer’s technology needs and provide measurable ROI.  This training and certification is administered by the Digital Signage Experts Group, a vendor-neutral organization.

“Canvys professionals will use their new knowledge gained with this training and extensive experience to develop tailor-made digital signage solutions for our customers," says Harley Firth, Canvys Vice President of Global Sales. "By investing in this education and certification, we have reinforced our dedication to providing the right digital signage solutions for each Canvys customer.”

“Not all industry players understand how the complex parts of a digital signage system work together to create quality visuals and expand a customer’s business,” said Alan Brawn, principal of Brawn Consulting and the Digital Signage Experts Group. “Congratulations to Canvys for successfully becoming certified in the art, science and business of digital signage. An educated team provides customers with comprehensive solutions, not one-dimensional answers.”
