In another advance in installer-friendly design, Peerless Industries has released a new line of gear-based ceiling projector mounts that enable images on multimedia projectors to be precisely aligned simply by turning two knobs. The new Arakno Projector Mounts utilize exclusive gearing technology to deliver the industry’s fastest, most exact and only tool-less image alignment, with the added benefit of the fullest range of motion on the market and a new no-pull knob mechanism for easy adjustment.
No Adjustment Screws, No Micro-Adjustments
Like Peerless’ PRG Precision Gear Projector Mounts, the new Arakno series expedites image alignment by eliminating the adjustment screws and repeated micro-adjustments usually required to achieve the right positioning. The gearing inside the mount makes it as easy to dial in the desired alignment as it is to focus binoculars – either by hand or optionally with the use of an Allen wrench. Once set, the gears accurately hold image position, virtually eliminating sag or drift.
Extra-Wide Adjustability & Easy-Turn Knobs
To accommodate any ceiling height or mount location, the new Arakno mounts boost range of motion to a maximum +29°/-45° tilt and roll as well as a full 360° swivel. Special knobs with easy-grip design turn like radio dials, eliminating the need to engage adjustment handles by extending and retracting. A quick-release mechanism enables projectors to be disconnected and reconnected with a single screw for servicing.
Holds Projectors Up to 100 Lbs.
Peerless’ Arakno Projector Mounts come in two models: the PAG-UNV for projectors up to 50 pounds (MSRP $229) and the heavy-duty PAG-UNV-HD (MSRP $250) for projectors up to 100 pounds. Each all-in-one-box package includes the mount, a ceiling plate, a threaded cable management connector, and Peerless’ patent-pending Spider Universal Adapter Plate with expanding legs that enable the mounts to fit nearly all projectors.
