TerraLUX Extends Retrofit Lighting Services to NYC

TerraLUX will host a free webinar on new retrofitting technology and rebate programs on July 30, 2012. This unique webinar will have retrofitting experts from Smart Energy US, UL, and Con Edison/Lockheed Martin.

The webinar will be conducted at 10 a.m. EDT on July 30, 2012, and will cover major topics such as analysis of current LED technology, overview of energy use in buildings, common lighting applications and retrofit solutions, overview of Con Edison rebate program, retrofitting and UL requirements, and strategies for energy audit, investment planning, installation.

As more and more buildings are exploring to achieve cost-and energy-efficiency, using LED lighting solutions, TerraLUX enthusiastically develops and designs products that are capable of reducing energy utilization and costs dramatically, in addition to providing maximum lighting efficiency. The TerraLUX Linear LED Engine is a versatile, plug and play solution that serves a variety of applications.

The Linear LED engine can be adopted with sconces, cove lights, steplights, and wallpacks and delivers 100 lm/in. The line-voltage connected linear LED engine consumes only 8 W and enables reduced ($4/year) power costs and efficient operation of 10.2 hours/day and $0.15 kw/h energy rate. With increased energy and cost efficiency, the Linear LED engine is one of the first UL classified LED retrofits and ensures simple installation within five minutes.

Designers, building managers are now provided with a new option to retrofit the old fixtures, turning them out to be new, durable energy-efficient lights.
