Philips newly launched TruGroove lineup of LED and fluorescent recessed luminaires are versatile solutions for a range of applications.
With modest design and unique color rendering capability, TruGroove enables lighting designers to generate optimum light levels at lower energy densities than in industry guidelines. Besides providing aesthetic features, it promotes energy-efficiency serving variety of applications.
This high-performance TruGroove uses a patented MesoOptics technology that enables optimal combination of light and color, promoting precisely-controlled batwing distribution and controlling high angle glare. The in-built 3” narrow aperture lens generates full end-to-end luminance, eliminating socket shadows.
TruGroove can optimize luminous environments to produce high efficacies up to 69 lm/W in LED fixtures and up to 83% in fluorescent luminaires. In contrast to other narrow aperture recessed products, TruGroove involves an exceptional cable-cinch procedure, through which contractors can attach fixtures below a drywall ceiling, followed by elevation to achieve installation.
Being offered in 2’, 4’, and 8’ standalone lengths, TruGroove fixtures operate consistently in virtually any length. The luminaires can adapt to both t-grid and drywall ceilings. Both LED and fluorescent versions of the product are offered in asymmetric and symmetric distributions, in several lumen packages, lens options and color temperatures.
TruGroove utilizes Philips Ledalite’s Response daylight harvesting sensors that cuts energy utilization by up to an additional 35%. The system can also be integrated with the company’s Airwave battery-free, wireless, solar and kinetically powered controls for more energy-efficiency. All Philips Ledalite LED luminaires provide easy ‘plug-and-play’ installation with easy maintenance and upgrades.
