Luminus Devices, a provider of high light output LEDs will be displaying its recently launched projector product line that is lit by the projection chipsets of the company. Visitors will have the opportunity of viewing the demonstration of an LED projector, whose brightness can be compared with a conventional lamp-based projector with 2200 ANSI lumens rating.
A 4000 lm hybrid laser or LED projector will be exhibited by the company, confirming the focus on mainstream projectors with high brightness for education and business markets. The latest blue and red LED technology solutions form the basis of this projector.
Many projectors will be unveiled in the category of ultra-portable projectors. The performance of these projectors is rated up to 500 lm. The company will also demonstrate a technology of previewing the products for next generation.
Luminus Devices’ Director of Display Business Group and Global Product Marketing, Stephane Bellosguardo, stated that the recent innovations in the brightness of the company’s Big Chip LEDs will help LEDs to benefit more applications and segments in the projection space, which also includes projection of mainstream data. The companyhas revealed that they are positioned well in order to develop the market for mainstream front projector, through sustained product innovation and investment of research and development. It is expected to grow for more than 9 million units annually by 2013.
These recent progress in technologies will be exhibited by the company at the Las Vegas Convention Center, NV.
