Cooper Lighting, a provider of lighting fixtures and controls, has declared that its products have been included in a City Furniture superstore.
City Furniture, a furniture retailer at Florida, chose three energy efficient LED products from Cooper Lighting, to meet its LEED Silver certification proposal for a new Florida based superstore in the Boca Raton region, measuring 94,000 sq. ft. City Furniture determines to conserve energy by 60%.
City Furniture intends to conduct eco-friendly operations supplemented with business values and thereby has discovered an approach to construct a superstore that will satisfy the LEED Silver standards. The wattage utilization was determined when the construction was initiated which necessitated suitable illumination perfect for a retail area. To cater to the lighting requirements, City Furniture deployed 3,500 of Halo Stasis LED track fixtures, 10 Lumark LED Wal-Pak exterior security wall-mount luminaires, and 18 McGraw-Edison Ventus LED outdoor parking lot fixtures, provided by Cooper Lighting.
Lighting consultant of DMD Lighting and Energy Control Systems, Dominick D. Falso, chose significant products like the 3,500 18W Halo Stasis LED track fixtures to focus on the products exhibited in the store, which according to Falso, utilizes only half of the energy or even less when compared to the 39W ceramic metal halide fixture normally used in similar stores .
The optical performance and the capacity to provide the appropriate uniform illumination make the Ventus LED parking lot fixtures appropriate for external use. The fixtures characterize bi-level switching, enabling the energy management system to conserve more energy by an involuntary turn-off operation.
Falso employed 40W LED Wal-Pak fixtures which can be kept on even at night, thereby assuring safety. Specializing in entrance construction and pathway illumination, the Lumark LED wall-mounted fixtures cater to City Furniture's requirements of performance as well as energy-savings.
