Calibration stand of VITRONIC in Dubai
VITRONIC Machine Vision Middle East had recently installed a highly advanced calibration stand for laser systems in the Middle East. It is the first such calibration technology in the area. The stand is now operational. It facilitates annual inspection of laser red light and speed systems. European countries such as Germany and Switzerland have made the annual inspection as a law.
The CEO of VITRONIC Machine Vision Middle East, Youssef Al Hansali, stated that users of PoliScan systems in Dubai and in the Middle East region will gain from the VITRONIC calibration stand. Calibration for laser systems was already being conducted in Germany, he added. The new calibration stand will help VITRONIC to apply the highest global standards for supporting and maintaining the company’s laser based products. The stand will also help users to save time spent for maintenance and calibration purposes, he said. It will also increase the road safety for road users in the Middle East. The setting up of the calibration stand will also facilitate more deployments, he announced.
VITRONIC is a machine vision company that manufactures and sells LIDAR based systems for automated license plate recognition, and red light and speed enforcement. Over 220 systems are currently being operated in the Middle East region. The Saudi Aramco, the Abu Dhabi Police and the Dubai Police are among the users of the system.
