NEC Display Solutions, a manufacturer of projector and LCD display solutions, has introduced a novel low weight LED digital projector, L50W to the NEC projector series especially designed for business professionals who travel frequently and are concerned about the environment.

The 500-lumen, eco-friendly L50W LED projector is portable and has multimedia features. The solid state LED light source serves has a mercury-free design, incorporates an integrated power supply with an attractive look, is 2.6 lbs. in weight and is the size of about a handbook. Its automatic remote control features one-touch source variations and total menu control for projector settings. The L50W incorporates an adaptable input panel with VGA, HDMI, and composite inputs with 1GB built-in memory to save presentations. The Office Viewer characteristic assists the customers to save general Microsoft Office files such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe PDF files on the device. The SD input of L50W increases the internal storage to 32GB.
The L50W incorporates additional features such as contrast ratio of 2500:1, 0.45” DLP by Texas Instruments and 1140 x 912 WXGA inherent resolution, maximum light hours of 20,000 hours, filter-free outline, video files such as MPEG2, H.264 (AVI, MP4, MOV, 3GP), MJPEG (AVI), and WMV, still image files such as BMP and JPEG, audio files such as MP3, Wave and WMA, card reader such as SD, SDHC and MMC, 2W speaker, adaptive color tone correction, in-built closed captioning, carbon savings meter, and zoom in facility.
