Cooper Lighting has announced that the high performance LED floodlight, the McGraw-Edison Marquis LED Sign Light was chosen as a winner in the Lightfair International (LFI) Innovation Awards 2011 for the category Roadway, Sports, Outdoor Architectural, Site Lighting.
The LFI Innovation Award recognizes innovative lighting products, technologies and designs introduced every year. Each entry is judged by a panel of distinguished lighting professionals.
The President of Cooper Lighting, Mark Eubanks stated that the Marquis LED Sign Light has been designed to deliver exceptional performance with reduced energy consumption. The optical design of the LED sign light meets the floodlighting application and commercial billboard standards as well as roadway sign lighting standards. Providing a uniform illumination, the McGraw-Edison Marquis LED Sign Light has an operational life of more than 50,000 hours.
The integral electronics and modular design of the LED sign light enables reduced power consumption while maintaining uniform light levels. The fixtures are available in two lumen packages and can be mounted in both downlight and uplight applications. Saving up to 52% of energy, the Marquis LED is an energy-efficient solution for commercial billboards, roadway/highway signs, building signages and outdoor façade applications.
