AIS Unveils Touch Screen Panels with Intel Atom Processor

American Industrial Systems (AIS) has introduced the human machine interface (HMI) touch screen terminals that allow maintenance personnel and system operators to manage, monitor, and control lighting equipment and ventilation system.

The terminals generate a building control solution in order to reduce maintenance and energy costs. They are also suitable for security, hot water systems, and chilled water systems. The terminals use a web-based system that helps in quickening the HMI training and development time.

The touch screen terminal solutions provide LCD screen sizes in 5.7”, 7 and 10.1”. The 10.1” PoE panel pc features power over ethernet technology and an Intel Atom N270 processor. It enables installation of the PC in remote locations without power. The pc incorporates IP54 dust and water protection, LED backlight, integrated touch screen, and fanless operation. They are utilized in industrial and commercial buildings and allow central control for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems around the buildings. The panels operate from -25 to 70° C. The commercial off the shelf panel PCs offer a cost-efficient control interface that can be integrated into the existing and new installations.
