SPI Lasers, a specialist in fiber lasers, will introduce four new fiber laser products at the Laser World of Photonics to be conducted from 23 to 26 May 2011 in Munich.
SPI Lasers is expanding its redPOWER brand with the introduction of the 500-1 kW OEM fiber lasers and adding the latest 500-W fiber laser to its R4 product portfolio. G4, a future-generation fiber laser platform that produces fiber lasers from 10 to 70 W, and a redENERGY GREEN pulsed laser are the latest additions to the redENERGY portfolio.
SPI Lasers’ ultra-power OEM fiber laser system has features, including superior output power constancy, thermal control and SPI’s GTWave technology-based optical resonator to monitor temperature and power. Using this system, the integrators can produce welding and cutting devices with expandable output powers as it allows them to tailor the electronic and optical management interface functionality and performance according to the application.
The redENERGY G4 platform employs SPI Lasers’ PulseTune technology, GTWave amplification technology and directly adjusted, semiconductor seed laser. It makes a simple plug-and-play system interface throughout the series by integrating a latest beam delivery optic. It operates in duration down to nanosecond pulse, making it suitable for micro-machining and marking applications. Its improved optical attributes and superior average powers make it to be used for wide range of applications and processes.
The redENERGY GREEN laser offers pulses of 200 µJ at 532 nm. The laser source is developed for OEMs and system integrators operating in areas such as ceramic and polymer marking, manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor and photovoltaics.
