Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America has expanded its new line of extreme short-throw (EST) projectors with the launch of two ultra-short throw projectors called the XD380U-EST and the WD380U-EST.
The new projectors feature superior quality EST lenses in the place of mirrors. The projectors¡¦ flawless design allows easy deployment and maintains cleaner interior, thus minimizing image degradation and improving the product life. They feature USBA + B inputs to endorse PC-free presentations.
3D-ready, closed captioning, audio standby, an integrated 10 W speaker and LAN display are some of the features of the projectors. The XD380U-EST and the WD380U-EST are ultra-brightness versions with brightness of 2500 and 2800 lm, respectively.
The XGA resolution XD380U-EST and wide format WD380U-EST have lamps that provide an operating life of 6,000 h in low mode. They have high contrast ratio of 3000:1 and utilize the DLP technology from Texas Instruments to project high-quality images. Their uniquely designed lens can focus a 70„c WXGA image at distance of below 23„c.
Mitsubishi¡¦s ultra short-throw projectors weigh nearly 9 lbs, making them easily portable. The projectors support Wi-Fi for rapid connection and function. To perform presentation, users can store the presentations as .JPEG images or .PTG files in a USB flash drive that can be connected directly to the projectors.
The XD380U-ST and the WD380U-EST have an integrated RJ45 input and a RS232 connector to offer instant connectivity with third-party remote management solutions from Mitsubishi's ProjectorView Global+ as well as products from AMX and Crestron.
