Tripix Striplights Illuminate Pedestrian Bridge in Sweden

Erik Nordlander, head of Sweden-based Nordlander Produktion, has used white and bright coloured LED striplights to light up the renovated pedestrian bridge in Kramfors, a town in northern Sweden.

The company used a total of 18 Martin Professional Tripix 300 LED (RGB) strip lights for the bridge.

Mill Bridge is made of wood and is used mostly by pedestrians and cyclists. It is situated beyond the centre of the city. The lighting was carried out in response to a call from the town municipality to provide a secure pathway and also to highlight the beauty of the quaint bridge.

The company has fitted nine 300 mm IP66-rated Tripix lights beneath the handrail on either side of the bridge. Each light uses a single lens tricolour mixing. This involves a colour wash that delivers a uniform spread of colour across a surface.

According to Erik Nordlander, the Tripex features bright warm colour. The colour used on the bridge was a warm white. The bridge was also lighted up with pink colour to spread awareness on breast cancer. The installed lights are available in stand-alone versions. They also illuminate a small waterfall and a fish ladder beneath the bridge. The lights were installed in October last year.
