Lumenor Energy Services, a lighting retrofit firm based in Florida, has completed a LED retrofit at The Kash Group’s residential tower in Wall Street, New York.
The President of The Kash Group, Shlomo Bakhash, said that he was initially hesitant to invest in the LED retrofit project. However, the retrofit has saved considerable amount of energy in the first month itself and required minimum maintenance, he added.
Lumenor Energy has completed the LED retrofit project well ahead of schedule. It took less than three weeks to procure all the materials required for the project and completed the deployment within two days. The normal industry time for a LED retrofit project of this size usually takes 30 to 45 days.
After the completion of the LED retrofit, the residential tower has saved more than 54% of energy usage and saved additional costs from low maintenance requirements. Following the success of this project, The Kash Group has given three more lighting retrofit contracts to Lumenor Energy Services to retrofit commercial towers in Long Island and Manhattan.
