Arecont Vision's MP Cameras Achieve UL Listing

Pioneer in internet protocol (IP)-based MP camera technology, Arecont Vision proclaimed that Underwriters Laboratories has given UL listing for its broad range of MP cameras under the standard for Information Technology Equipment, UL-60950-1. Arecont Vision is the first company in the MP camera sector to obtain the UL listing for its products.

Indoor H.264 camera models that have received the UL listing include AV10005, AV5105, AV3105, AV2105 and AV1305 models with auto-iris or Day/Night options. A 3/1.3 MP dual-sensor Day/Night H.264 model, AV3135, 1080p HD camera comes with auto-iris or Day/Night options, AV2805, and a 3/1.3 megapixel dual-sensor Day/Night model with JPEG compression, AV3130 are some of the other models that received UL-listing.

The indoor compact JPEG models with Day/Night options such as AV5110, AV3110, AV2110 and AV1310 are included in the UL listing. Compact models, AV2815, a 1080 p full HD H.264 camera, and AV1315 utilizing H.264 compression also received UL listing.

Compact cameras are one-third the weight and one-half the size of earlier models and can be installed effortlessly into compact domes and housings. Outdoor camera models of the company such as AV8365DN, a 360„a panoramic view camera with a total image area of 8 MP, and AV8185DN, a 180„a panoramic view camera with four 2 MP sensors offering a total image area of 8 MP are also included in the UL listing.
