Neonode to Showcase Optical Touch Solution at Mobile World Congress

Provider of optical touch screen solutions, Neonode announced that it will showcase a new high performance and low-cost optical touch solution at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona.

The new zForce alwaysON touch solution is ideal for reflective displays and supports operating systems such as Android. The solution incorporates sophisticated power management functionalities for low-power mobile units.

Neonode’s zForce touch screen technology supports pen writing, and finger navigation such as sweeps, multi-touch and gestures, among others. The touch screens offer 100% viewing experience that is free from parallax effects and reflection. They do not have any overlay on the top part of the display and operate on reflective display panels that provide a paper-like reading experience in various lighting conditions.

The new touch solution will allow OEMs to substitute the phone keypad with a touch screen solution at reduced cost. It addresses the requirement for touch enabled systems.
