DILAS Industrial Laser Systems Release New Integrated Diode Laser System

DILAS Industrial Laser Systems announces the release of a new integrated diode laser system based on fiber-coupled modules.

Despite the extremely small dimensions of 336mm x 144mm, this high-power diode laser system delivers optical output powers of up to 50W CW at 980nm out of a 400µm fiber and up to 35W, CW, power out of a 200µm fiber. Cooling is provided by Peltier elements and air flow. The system can either be controlled via an USB port using the supplied software or by conventional analog and 24V signals.

The MINI is available as an easily integrable OEM version (without housing) or as a housed desktop version. A fiber optic cable of 5m length and with SMA connector allows flexible beam guidance to the working area.

Available accessories like processing heads of different focal spot sizes and working distances can be used in conjunction with the MINI system. Furthermore, the integrated red pilot beam facilitates to adjust the laser to the work piece.

The MINI is used for a variety of applications in direct materials processing such as selective soldering and welding of plastics as well as for applications in illumination, analysis or research and development. For such applications, different wavelengths (630nm to 2000nm) are available upon request.

DILAS Industrial Laser Systems, a division of DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH, delivers reliable solutions for high-performance industrial laser systems in a wide range of output powers and wavelengths, including fiber-coupled, direct beam or line source solutions for an increasing number of industrial applications.
