BIOLASE Technology Introduces Dual-Wavelength All-Tissue Laser System

BIOLASE Technology, producer and supplier of dental laser products, has introduced the Waterlase iPlus System dual-wavelength all-tissue laser that represents a key milestone in all-tissue laser technology since the introduction of Waterlase MD in 2005.

The new iPlus can cut all kinds of tissues two times faster than existing laser devices. It eliminates the pain and danger of cross-contamination that is normally associated with standard drills and produces a smoother surface.

The dental laser has a user interface with a huge ultra-resolution touch screen that is programmed with more than 50 procedures including endodontic and periodontal. The iPlus comes with a system set up and has the patented 2780 nm YSGG technology and an in-built iLase 940-nm diode laser.

The iLase will improve the functionalities of the YSGG technology, which has been the industry benchmark for all-tissue dental lasers since 1997, by offering a diode laser that can be used for soft-tissue cases, teeth whitening, better bleeding control and short-term pain relief.

The dental laser device features a new fiber delivery system and a novel 3X brighter lighting source, allowing free movement of the device with enhanced site visibility and minimum hand fatigue.
