Strategy Analytics has released a new viewpoint titled ‘Compound Semiconductor Industry Review September-November 2010: Optoelectronics, Materials & Equipment’.
The Strategy Analytics GaAs and Compound Semiconductor Technologies Service (GaAs) viewpoint summarizes major technology, contract, financial and product announcements for optoelectronic firms in the time-period of September-November 2010.
According to the report, the optoelectronics segment in the compound semiconductor sector continued to expand by end of 2010. The factors driving the optoelectronics segment are high performance demand created by optical transport industry and increased utilization of LEDs for automotive and general lighting applications.
The viewpoint covers financial reports of key equipment, material, photovoltaic, LASER and LED vendors such as GigOptix, Veeco, Aixtron, JDSU, Cree, Oclaro, Kopin and IQE. In addition, it includes over 40 product announcements targeted at various photovoltaic and optical applications.
