LG Electronics announced that it has rolled out a new portable LED projector that features an ATSC tuner and DLNA technology and offers access to online content.
The HW300T projector features a WXGA resolution of 1200x800 pixels and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. The projector delivers a brightness of 250 lm and weighs 0.8 kg.
The projector can be used with DLNA-certified products and allows users to transfer the digital content wirelessly from Blu-ray players and computers. The ATSC tuner allows users to view Free HD Broadcast signals without requiring a separate content source. The HW300T projector incorporates a broadband function that allows users to access various internet services. It can also play HD content through USB connection.
The LED light source of the projector is developed without using mercury. The lifespan of the projector is rated at 30,000 h. The projector features HDMI interface and comes with a RC Battery, D-sub/RGB to Composite cable, Remote Control, Wi-Fi Dongle, and carry bag.
LG Home Entertainment’s President, Havis Kwon stated that the HW300T projector’s enhanced connectivity allows users to connect with various entertainment options.
