Epson Unveils Low-Cost Projectors with 3LCD Technology

Epson announced that it has rolled out four new projectors that are suitable for classroom usage. The PowerLite 96W, 95, 93, and 92 projectors offer HDMI digital connectivity, a sturdy inbuilt speaker, and enhanced brightness and provide enhanced video and audio with a single cable.

The PowerLite 96W projector features a WXGA resolution and provides a white light and color output of 2700 lm. The PowerLite 95 projector has a XGA resolution and delivers 2600 lm color and white light output. The PowerLite 93 and 92 projectors provide 2400 lm of white light and color output with XGA resolution.

The projectors feature network connectivity to conveniently control and monitor the networked Epson projectors. The PowerLite 96W and 95 projectors have the potential to transmit video and audio content over the IP network. The projectors have an inbuilt closed captioning decoder that allows viewers with hearing impairments to access presentations.

The PowerLite 96W, 95, and 93 projectors provide RJ-45 wired LAN connectivity for project management purposes. They also have a virtual remote control through a web browser that offers basic projector control. The projectors transmit audio and images from either a Mac or a Windows PC. The projectors feature 3LCD technology and have a maximum lamp life of 6000 hours.
