Industrial Laser Application Symposium 2011 to be Held in Warrington, UK

The AILU (Association of Laser Users) will conduct a biannual Industrial Laser Application Symposium from 15 to 16 March 2011 in Warrington.

The event will attract research and industrial user communities in the UK and will focus on opportunities and developments in laser manufacturing applications for various fine- and macro-scale processing.

The 2011 ILAS will feature 55 technical presentations on 7  major processing areas, three plenary presentations with diverse views on invention, and innovation in laser applications and lasers. In addition, the symposium will include seven keynote presentations that will focus on solar cell production, surface modification, welding, micro joining, laser cutting, additive manufacturing, laser beam shaping, and laser machine technology.

The 2009 ILAS featured more than 110 delegates and created new associations among the manufacturing and research communities.
