Xo Enhances Fiber-Optic Network Services in Eastern Region of Phoenix

Xo Communications, provider of communication services, announced that it has broadened the coverage of its fiber-optic network in the city of Phoenix, Arizona. Expansion of the fiber-optic network services will make the company more accessible in Mesa, Gilbert, and Chandler, which belong to the Phoenix’s eastern metropolitan region.

The network expansion will also offer direct access to an additional 200 buildings in the Phoenix region and append over 130 route miles to the company’s network.

Xo, in addition, has also installed a more widespread Ethernet over copper technology across the Phoenix fiber-optic network. The company stated that by extending the 19,000-mile fiber-optic network and setting up extra centers in the Phoenix metropolitan region, it could now serve numerous emerging businesses.
