Optrex America Launches Super Wide View TFT-LCDs

LCD manufacturer, Optrex America has rolled out a new line of TFT-LCDs incorporating the Super Wide View (SWV) technology for wide viewing angles and fine image quality with optimum color accuracy.

The TFT-LCDs are suitable for center stack consoles, automotive clusters, medical applications, and graphic designs. In addition, the LCDs are ideal for other applications that necessitate super wide viewing angles, as well as consistent and precise color reproduction.

Color TFT LCDs

The Super Wide View TFT-LCD product line of Optrex includes the series, namely, the 15’’ T-55519D150J-LW-A series diagonal XGA panels, the 9’’ T-55561D090J-LW-A series diagonal WVGA panels, and the 5’’ T-55423GD050JU-LW-A series WVGA panels. The T-55519D150J-LW-A series exhibit a contrast ratio of 1000:1, brightness of 350 nits, and LED backlighting for 100k hours. The T-55519D150J-LW-A-ABN, a high brightness version in the series, produces 1100 nits of brightness, and is suitable for sunlight-readable outdoor applications.

The T-55561D090J-LW-A series offer a contrast ratio of 900:1, brightness of 350 nits, and LED backlighting for 100k hours. In addition, the 9’’ diagonal WVGA panels operates at a temperature range of -30° C to 80° C, and has a standard LVDS interface.  

The T-55423GD050JU-LW-A series provides a contrast ratio of 600:1, brightness of 300 nits, and has a standard CMOS interface with a slim design of 3.5 mm total module thickness. The T-55583GD050J-LW-A-AAN, which is the high brightness version in this series, offers a contrast ratio of 900:1 and brightness of 800 nits.
