GAO Tek Releases 4-Channel Digital Video Recorder

Manufacturer of electronic measurement instruments and telecommunication testers, GAO Tek has released a new digital video recorder (DVR) that supports 500 G HDD, M-JPEG compression, panel control, remote control and PS2 mouse. The 7004 4-channel DVR records audio and video in a digital format in a disk drive or other memory device.

Real Time 4 Channel Digital Video Recorder

The DVR offers real time recording with CIF and HD1 resolution and has scheduled record modes, motion detection, alarm and manual. The 7004 DVR records images in three changeable levels, namely low, middle and high. The recording resolution of the digital video recorder is 704×240 (Half D1) or 352×288 (CIF) in NTSC mode, and 704×288 (Half D1) or 352×240 (CIF) in PAL mode.

The DVR is characterized by 1 channel synchronous output and 4 channel synchronous inputs for audio recording. It has 2 channel outputs such as 1BNC and 1S-video and 4 channel inputs such as BNC, and video search by channel, time and event for video recording. The DVR performs 4 channel or 1 channel synchronous playback and supports 120f/s/4ch (NTSC) and 100f/s/4ch (PAL) frame display rate.
