AboveNet’s Core Wave Services Available for New York Customers

Provider of high-bandwidth connectivity solutions, AboveNet has announced that the Core Wave services are available for carrier and enterprise customers in the New York metro area. The core wave services offer customers a cost-effective, dedicated and versatile data transport solution for connections in major metro business centers.

The core wave solutions are ideal for carriers and enterprises that require high-bandwidth connectivity solutions. The solutions use Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) technology to offer inter-ring connectivity and dynamic wavelength add/drops with versatile traffic routing.

The solutions offer fiber access to enterprise locations. Customers can benefit from quick service turn-up and can save both space and power consumption. Customers can also utilize the company’s network footprint to connect to major business places in the European and the U.S. metros.

The products provide 10, 2.5, and 1 Gbps connections between enterprise locations and major data centers in the New Jersey and New York region.

AboveNet’s CEO, Bill LaPerch stated that the core wave services provide customers with complete network solutions that are required to carry out businesses in the New York region.
