GigE uEye CP Industrial Cameras Feature Power Over Ethernet Technology

Developer of industrial cameras, Imaging Development Systems has launched new GigE uEye CP industrial cameras that have Power over Ethernet technology.

The GigE uEye CP cameras feature a high-speed Gigabit Ethernet interface, which accommodates maximum cable lengths of 100 m. They have optically isolated inputs and outputs, screw-on connectors, and sturdy magnesium housing and are ideal for various industrial settings.

The GigE uEye cameras integrate the performance of GigE with the simplicity of USB. They provide convenient plug-and-play usage and are linked with only one cable. The new range of cameras incorporates three models that cover diverse applications and feature CMOS sensors.

The UI-5220CP camera has a WVGA chip with a potential to function at 100 fps. The UI-5480CP provides ultra-high resolution at 5 MP.  The UI-5240CP camera functions at 50 fps and features a shutter sensor with 1.3 MP. It is ideal for microscopy and swift inspection tasks. The cameras also have an isolated supply connection for voltages ranging from 12 to 24 V.
