Bit Error Rate Certified Fiber Optic Assemblies from Megladon

Megladon Manufacturing Group, a company specialized in the fiber-optic products, launched the Bit Error Rate-certified 10GIG HLC fiber patch cables. The 10GIG patch cables enable migration to 10 Gigabit in optical fiber networks.

The laser optimized fiber-optic patch cables, sometimes, have high bit error rate. These cables are not tested for bit error rate, using a 10GIG signal. Whereas, Megladon’s 10GIG HLC fiber patch cables are tested for bit error rate.

The HLC SCRATCHGUARD connection technology of Megladon allows business critical applications to function with less connectivity issues. In addition, the properties and repeatability of the Hardened Lens enable Megladon for bit error rate testing and for certifying the terminated solution with high first pass yield.

Megladon’s President, John Culbert stated that the existing patch cables in the market are not tested using the bit error rate tester.
