Manufacturer of automation and control systems, Crestron has announced the availability of its GLPAC-DIMFLV integrated lighting systems, which are stand-alone lighting controllers for offices, conference rooms, and classrooms.
The GLPAC lighting controllers connect directly to touch panels and keypads, for an improved user experience and easy integration. The lighting systems manage four to eight channels of switched or dimmable fluorescent loads. Each unit has the ability to control one room, or a maximum of four independent rooms.
In addition, the GLPACs can be integrated into a centralized Crestron system, to provide monitoring and control throughout the facility. The Ethernet connectivity allows optional real-time power consumption tracking feature using the Viridian energy management software. The software offers useful information to optimize energy efficiency across the facility.
The GLPAC systems have built-in support for shade control, photocells, and occupancy sensors, allowing significant energy saving abilities. The systems switch lights off automatically, and do HVAC adjustment in unoccupied locations. The daylight harvesting function of the GLPACs offers a right balance between natural and artificial light. The power monitoring feature, which tracks the real-time energy usage of every load, is offered as optional.
The GLPACs lighting controllers incorporate a preloaded program to provide single-room control. This allows easy and fast setup that requires no extra configuration, except connecting to a laptop.
