Southern Light Selects Optelian’s LightGAIN and LightMUX Optical Transport Systems

Manufacturer of advanced optical network systems, Optelian, has announced that Southern Light has deployed its LightMUX and LightGAIN systems to support fiber-based services.

The LightMUX and LightGAIN systems support new Ethernet and legacy TDM aggregation in various applications, especially the fiber to the tower and cellular backhaul applications. Optelian’s LightGAIN and LightMUX systems offer a scalable solution, which can be customized to meet customers’ demand. The systems can also increase the use of Southern Light’s existing fiber plant.
